Skyline Mechanic

Skyline Mechanic scratches an itch I didn't know I had. You buy rusty wrecks, strip them down, clean and repair each part, then rebuild the whole thing and hear the engine turn over. The satisfaction of a first startup is real.

The disassembly is tactile — drag bolts loose, swap panels, match the right components. It's fiddly in the best way. After the rebuild you get a short test drive, which is more of a reward than a game in itself.

Some later cars reuse the same steps a bit too often, and loading between garage screens can lag. Still, it's a relaxing, methodical time-sink that's hard to put down once you commit to a build.
